Introduction
The program builds upon the foundation of a successfully completed degree in law from a university abroad. Its aim is for students to master the fundamentals of German law, to develop the skills to conduct legal work according to the methods that are common in this field, and to treat an area of law in-depth in a master thesis.

Curriculum
With the support of the supervisor (a professor or lecturer of the Faculty), a curriculum is created which must meet the following requirements:
It must comprise a total of 60 Credits, which have to be divided up into the required and optional courses according to the module catalog in the study regulations:
- 33 C in law lectures and seminars
- 6 C in the area of professionalization (key skills, such as mediation, negotiation, foreign language courses, German courses)
- 21 C for the master thesis
